What transponders do we run at PWR?
We run iLaps transponders. They're available for purchase at the track for $40 per transponder.
Is electricity available in the pits?
Yes, each pit space has electricity available. If you are bringing a trailer, electricity may not be available in your area. Bring a generator for trailer parking.
Where can I park?
We allow drivers to pull into the pit area to unload. This is strictly a temporary loading zone. When you're done unloading, park in the church parking lot across the street.
Is the track wheelchair - accessible?
Yes, we have an ADA compliant wheelchair ramp to the driver's stand. The pit area allows for ample room for anyone who needs it. If you need a pit spot close to the driver's stand, let the RD know.
How big is the track?
Our inside run line is about 215 feet, while the outside lane is about 270 feet.
I've never raced before, where do I start?
All new racers will start in the Modified Novice or Wingless Novice class, depending on the car they have. You'll need to break out of that class to graduate into the standard classes.
