Bandit Sprint Rules

Traxxas Bandit 2WD buggy; all stock parts in stock locations

Optional: adjustable turnbuckles, AL caps, bearings, hex adapters, internal shock limiters or TQ tower extenders

Team Qik Zero Mod Bandit Sprint body and cage (lexan or printed)

Traxxas Titan 12T motor and XL5 ESC; motor connectors required

Traxxas servos only,no internal upgrades permitted.

2.2 rims; Anaconda and Hoosier tires legal at all events; Additional track  tire is Ellipse front and rear

Intent

This is a SPEC class. The rules define every modification or alternative part that is allowed. All other modifications and parts are NOT allowed. These rules are derived from the Team Qik rules with minor modification.

Chassis

• Traxxas 2wd Bandit chassis No additional weight allowed, except for the sole purpose of tire balancing

Body

• TQ’s Zer0-Mod Bandit Wingless Sprint Body (783 or 783F) - NO WING(s)

Electronics

• Traxxas Titan 12T motor and XL-5 stock

• ESC only, motor connectors required ESC must be mounted on the Factory ESC Mounting Plate

• Traxxas Spurs ONLY 76, 83, 86, 90 & any pinion (Gear Cover REQUIRED)

• Traxxas servos  Permitted

Shocks

• Traxxas stock Bandit shocks only (Ultra Shocks) with stock Bandit springs (2457 & 2458)

• Internal limiters are allowed; Shock Limiter Eliminators by Team QIK are allowed. (PN QIK-1090)

Battery

• 7.4V or 7.6LiHv / 2S Lipo Batteries, maximum charge voltage: 8.60V

• Shorty packs are permitted

Tires

• Tires always allowed: Bandit stock tires; Traxxas Anacondas; Pro-Line Hoosier Angle Blocks (rear) Chain Links (front), Track Spec Tire: Sprinter Front and Rear

• Any buggy wheels

Smokey Yunick Rule: if the rules don't say you can do it, you cannot do it.
